Valentines Day

I never actually like Valentines Day. Its not cause I didn't have someone to spend it with  but just the fact that it is a pointless day. Men give women red roses and the women get the men a teddy bear that says "Will you be my Valentine?" and a card that has " i love you " written all over it. I mean obviously couples express there love to each other every day or every once in a while but why just one particular day it's special.. well anyways, my Valentines Day during junior year was quite different and not what i expected. I was talking to a boy named Chris Kocar. Nothing serious yet, it was just a regular crush. One day, one of my senior friends, Alyssa Chaninian, and I were hanging out. And she mentioned that her boyfriend, Edwin, well ex now and Chris are planning something for Valentines Day. I guess it was a surprise. I didn't know how to react to this. He knew i didnt like Valentines Day, so i was wondering why he would do such a thing. It was Monday, February 14, Valentines Day. I went to school and had a normal day. Both Chris and Edwin told us to meet at the Encino Plaza around 6. And they said only one of the girls should drive. So i went home got ready and went to pick up Alyssa. We went to the plaza and met up with them. We had no idea what was going on.. They started to walk towards Habit. We were confused but we just went with it. We went into Habit and they told us what were ordering. At this point, Alyssa and I were saying this is some kind of joke. Finally, Edwin said " alright were late for our reservations." Alyssa and I just looked at each other and were happy that this wasnt the place they took us. They ended up taking us to Yamato which is a Japanese Restaurant right by habit. Dinner was really good and delicious. At the end of the dinner, the men payed for our lovely meal. Chris told us he had to go to the car to get his insulin so he left the restaurant and Edwin told us he had to use the restroom. Alyssa and i was just sitting there waiting for the guys. Next thing you know, some Asian woman gives us a paper. For a minute, we thought it was a guys number or a stalker. We opened it and read it and it was a note from the guys.. "WE BOOKED IT" This is what it said. And also it said they had set up a scavenger hunt for us. We didnt know what to do. We were dressed up all fancy with heels and it was already dark outside. We knew it wasnt the best time to go on a scavenger hunt. The note said to take my car go down the street and into a neighborhood were they taped flowers for us on a sign. :] The next and last note said to go to CVS market and go to the liguor section and theres another note in back of the beer. The last note to go in back of CVS and they will be waiting for us. We went back of CVS and saw them sitting in Edwins car. They told us to hop in and that they have another surprise for us. At this point, it was probably 8. Edwin entered the 101 free way and im just thinking were is this guy taking us... I mean it is a school night. We ended up on Sunset. I wondered what was on  Sunset. He pulled into a parking lot and we all got out. There surprise was this restaurant/hookah lounge called Xai. It was a beautiful place. It was all neatly decorated. We had some hookah and yummy crepes. We probably left the place around 10:30. That was basically how i spent my Valentines Day. It was the best Valentines Day i had.<3

Time Flies.

The other day, in class, i was sitting down bored as usual. i was looking at the teacher blank. Even though Mrs. Melikian was teaching us about the unit circle, at that moment i didn't care about the it even though i was 100 percent sure i was going to ace the upcoming quiz. i was thinking about our successful fashion show. How much fun all of us had. i couldn't believe that it was our year this year. Every year, i attended the fashion show. i loved going and watching and thinking that one day im going to wear a beautiful dress and walk that long run way. It finally came. This year was our year. . One day you tell yourself you can't wait to get your license and before you know it BOOM you have an embarrassing picture of yourself with the top saying California Driver's License. And then, your sitting down on your laptop writing your personal statement for the UC applications which are so stressful. Growing up, i was looking forward to high school. I wasn't scared of it but i was just excited for new things to come. Junior Year came and Armenia went by so quickly as well. i remember starting a count down on my phone on how many days left till Armenia. It started from 160..40...10..5..0. Its scary how time went by so fast and before we knew it we were boarding a flight to Yerevan. It was probably one of the most memorable and last trip ill ever have with 50 students. I was mostly excited for Senior year. i thought about it and its the last year im going to sit down in class with 25 kids that i grew up 13 years of my life. Just yesterday, we took a picture with our cap and gown. Trying on the cap and gown was a different feeling. Again i was thinking,When did i grow up so fast? In a few months, I'm going to be called up on stage to receive my diploma. My parents are going to be in audience with the cameras in their hand crying from happiness because their daughter is finally graduating. It was a long journey for me.. I had the both bad and good days. Cries and Laughter. But through it all, i learned that you only live once. And that life is too short. Unnecessary things shouldn't get to you. Through every experience comes knowledge. That I cant have regrets in life.. (other then purchasing front row Cali Christmas tickets -_-) i have my family and friends there to support me through it all. I made poor decisions but at the end i learned from it. My past has made me who i am today.

"It's not a Jetta, It's a PASSAT"

As everyone knows, I drive a 1999 Passat. About two years ago, my cousin gave me her car. I knew the car was a Volkswagen and thought it was a Jetta. I never paid attention to the car because I couldn't drive it yet since I didn't have my license. I told everyone it was a Jetta. Until one day, my cousin told me its not a Jetta. I ran outside to see that it says Passat.. I felt like an idiot. How can I not see that? I got my license and I finally started to drive it after a few months. Everyone thought it was a Jetta... I told them clearly "It's not a Jetta, it's a PASSAT!" Till this day, everyone can't tell the different besides me.. That is how this quote ended up on my Senior quote

"Usbidag Rouse"

When we were younger, we first looked forward to our trip to Sea World which we got kicked out of because our immature guys stuck tampons in the toilets and flooded it. In 8th grade, we looked forward to our trip to Washington DC. Our favorite memory was when our bus driver decided to crash into another bus. Three years later, we were impatiently waiting for the big trip: Armenia! In June 2011, about 50 students boarded the plane Air France. About 10 hours later, we landed in France. About 5 hours later, we finally landed in Armenia. The first smell we got as we exited the plane was the smell of body odor and cigarettes.. We knew that was the only smell we were going to inhale for the next one and half weeks. We waited for our bus to arrive and finally left the airport. As we pulled up to Ani Plaza Hotel, we were all so excited to check in and see our rooms. My roommate and I, Natalie Curukcuyan, finally got our room key on the 9th floor and took the small elevator all the way up. As we both ran to our room, we were wondering what it was going to look like. We opened the door.. and it was what we expected. Two twin beds, two chairs, small television, small closet, and small bathroom. Basically, it was a small room. Then it actually hit us that this was the trip we were dreaming of for years.

For the next week and a half,it was an unforgettable trip. Our tours started around 9 and we usually got back around 3. We had so much time to get ready. The day after we landed in Armenia, the girls as a group decided to go to Grammys. As the waiter took our order, I asked her for a White Russian. Obviously, the girl didnt know what the hell i was talking about. Then, my friends translated to her "usbidag Rouse." She finally understood.. :] The next days went flew by really fast. It was a daily routine. Waking up, going to the tours hours away, coming back in the afternoon, deciding for hours on what to do, meeting at the lobby around 8, having a quick dinner, heading to Giza, walking back to the hotel around 10:30, and writing our drunken journals :D Even though everybody was ready to go home after the first week, every day since then we all want to go back and do it all over again.

City of LA

This photo basically illustrates the city of LA, and the beauty of it. There are so many lights everywhere which makes it so beautiful. The only time you could see the city like this is probably on a plane. Probably the only part I like being on planes is when I come back to LA at night, I always look outside the window and see how pretty it is. I always think that I left the city with the lights on and returned to the city with the lights which hasn't changed.

Me Myself & i

My name is Nicole Niver Agazaryan. I will be eighteen in December (finally) and am a Senior in high school.I love food especially Chinese.I've been going to AGBU ever since I was six years old.My favorite color is yellow and green. It makes me sad that I'm going to graduate this year and not able to continue the memories I had in this school. But then again, I'm going to start a new chapter and go to college and get out of this AGBU bubble that everyone calls it. My family and friends are always there to support the decisions I make. I've been playing soccer ever since i was 6. I stopped but i will continue this year on our schools Varsity Team. I play volleyball also for the past 7 years.
