"Usbidag Rouse"

When we were younger, we first looked forward to our trip to Sea World which we got kicked out of because our immature guys stuck tampons in the toilets and flooded it. In 8th grade, we looked forward to our trip to Washington DC. Our favorite memory was when our bus driver decided to crash into another bus. Three years later, we were impatiently waiting for the big trip: Armenia! In June 2011, about 50 students boarded the plane Air France. About 10 hours later, we landed in France. About 5 hours later, we finally landed in Armenia. The first smell we got as we exited the plane was the smell of body odor and cigarettes.. We knew that was the only smell we were going to inhale for the next one and half weeks. We waited for our bus to arrive and finally left the airport. As we pulled up to Ani Plaza Hotel, we were all so excited to check in and see our rooms. My roommate and I, Natalie Curukcuyan, finally got our room key on the 9th floor and took the small elevator all the way up. As we both ran to our room, we were wondering what it was going to look like. We opened the door.. and it was what we expected. Two twin beds, two chairs, small television, small closet, and small bathroom. Basically, it was a small room. Then it actually hit us that this was the trip we were dreaming of for years.

For the next week and a half,it was an unforgettable trip. Our tours started around 9 and we usually got back around 3. We had so much time to get ready. The day after we landed in Armenia, the girls as a group decided to go to Grammys. As the waiter took our order, I asked her for a White Russian. Obviously, the girl didnt know what the hell i was talking about. Then, my friends translated to her "usbidag Rouse." She finally understood.. :] The next days went flew by really fast. It was a daily routine. Waking up, going to the tours hours away, coming back in the afternoon, deciding for hours on what to do, meeting at the lobby around 8, having a quick dinner, heading to Giza, walking back to the hotel around 10:30, and writing our drunken journals :D Even though everybody was ready to go home after the first week, every day since then we all want to go back and do it all over again.
